Villa holidays are great because you get privacy and lots of space – and they’re just perfect if you’re travelling with children. You can pop them to bed and relax just like at home, rather than being all cooped up in a hotel room.
Well, in Sri Lanka they’ve really taken this idea and popped a cherry on the top of it, as almost all villas in Sri Lanka come with a private pool and staff, including your very own chef who will shop for fresh ingredients and cook them for you. You may never want to leave…
The hardest decision is which one to go for. I’ve gathered together a few of my favourites here, all of which will act as an ideal base for day trips to some of the great highlights of Sri Lanka.
